A friend once asked me, “Joanne, what do you want to do?”
So I answered, “I want to be a fashion editor.”
And she goes, “Oh, I thought you meant that was a dream job, not one you would really do.”
I know that the chances are slim, that those few people who succeed are anomalies, that they are the lucky few, but I want to be one of them. I know what I want and I don’t want to sit back and let people think I’m just a dreamer. So I’m hustling and sharing my story because I know that each person that I tell, I’m a step closer to achieving my dream.
I don’t know who I’ll meet or where life will take me, but I’m taking chances and putting myself out there. This is my blog on my journey to becoming a fashion editor.

Hi, nice to meet you !
Thank you for the comment! I love your blog and all of the DIY fashion projects. I just subscribed! :)
Thanks! I love your blog as well.
Hey…I saw you comment on my blog “La Mode Dimitri” just a couple days ago. I love your blog, really nice content, but how do you get your shop style into your post….I’ve tried and always failed haha :)
Thanks! For the ShopStyle posts, I click on the share look button, next click blog it, then copy the code and paste it into the html version of the WordPress posts. Hope that helps.
Thanks for commenting on my blog! I am determined to live doing what i love as well. Fashion is intensely competitive but that should not stop a person who has made up their mind. Not many people are able to do that. Have you read ‘The Alchemist’ by Paul Coelho? You should read it, it’s great for people who want to follow their dreams.
Cheers!
Thanks for the words of encouragement. I’ll have to look into that book.
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I can relate to your career pursuit- I just moved cross-country with the hope of making my dream job a reality. So I know how tough it is, but I appreciate your positive attitude. Best of luck to you.
I’m glad you’re being proactive. I believe if you want something bad enough and work towards it, it’ll happen. Best of luck to you as well!
you commented on my blog a while back and I have been meaning to tell you for a while that I have been following your blog since and I love it! Fashion is more of a hobby of mine than a career interest, but I think what you are doing working towards your dream is awesome!
Thank you! I’m determined to make a career in fashion.
Hey, thanks for your comment!! But more importantly, thanks for putting your blog in my radar =D Very lovely blog, well organized and very proactive! I hope your dream will come true and you’ll do great in fashion :)
